VIRDI ANNE

Tomoaki Okaniwa, graduated from the Tokyo Fine Art University. His creative universe started with painting, but a greater passion was found in fashion. In 2000, he launched his label The Viridi-anne. The label focuses on clean lines, subtle details upon closer inspection that are very complex, and a special attention to perfect balance of colors. Okaniwa's collections show strong influences from European and Japanese culture, in which the themes are drawn from marveled works of art. Okaniwa states that, “The main concept of my work is based on the beauty of simplicity and the effects of time.
